When I think about festive makeup, I immediately think of cat-eyes and bold, red lips. This year I wanted to add a little bit more to it with a wee bit of glitter. I’m not normally a glitter-wearing type of gal, but I think this is tasteful enough!
Products used:
Lorac Pro Palette: I used the shades “Cream” and “Taupe” from this palette.
L’Oreal Lineur Intense Liquid Liner
NYX Cosmetics Liquid Crystal Liner in Crystal Gun Metal
Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes Mascara
Cailyn Cosmetics Tinted Lip Gloss in Love Affair
1. First apply an eye shadow primer. Then apply an eye shadow that is similar to your skin tone. I used a cream color shadow and placed this from lash line to brow bone.
2. Use a taupe color and blend this into your crease to add some depth to your eyes.
3. Apply liquid liner and create a small wing. Click here to see how I create a cat-eye.
4. Apply silver glitter liner directly above your black liner. You can apply this across your entire eye area, but I applied it on the outer half of my eyelid. I also added a bit to the inner corner of my eye.
5. Add some of the same taupe eye shadow to your bottom lash line.
6. Apply two coats of mascara.
7. Add your favorite red lippie.
8. Voila! You are finished with this quick and easy holiday glam!
I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas!
xoxo,
Jenny
